We were approached by the management of Monique Klemann to help them come up with a cool solution for their covers. We quickly stumbled onto typography and then automatically our typo-king Jheryll Richardson.
To show their strong roots in graphic design, New Zealand apparel brand I love Ugly commissioned Jheryll Richardson to design and produce a (free) downloadable font. The first ever for I love Ugly. inspired by the architectural style called Amsterdamse School. The end product was accompanied by an interview with Jheryll and these pictures, beautifully shot by Gilleam Trapenberg.
